Our Philosophy

Infusion Knowledge, Inc. promotes quality I.V. practice through comprehensive Infusion Education Programs and Services. We offer continuing education opportunities, information, resources, instructional videos, and references pertaining to any aspect of infusion practice.

Infusion therapy involves numerous considerations, ranging from various types of venous access devices, regulatory and legal issues, as well as the delivery of I.V. medications and fluids, blood and blood products, and parenteral nutrition solutions (i.e. TPN and PPN). In order to achieve best outcomes and reduce patient trauma, specialized education is a must when working with vascular access procedures for peripheral IV's or venipuncture, midlines, peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC), and/or the Modified Seldinger Technique (MST) utilizing Ultrasound Technology for PICC placement. Additionally, there are more complex therapies and issues to consider, such as epidural and intrathecal catheters, pain management, chemotherapy, and dialysis catheters.
