PICC Qualification Program

The Infusion Knowledge, Inc. PICC Qualification Program (often referred to as PICC Certification) was designed to help meet the growing need for clinicians with PICC skills.  Our program provides this education with in-depth knowledge of the procedure and related issues.

Because we believe a hands-on component is essential to quality education for a procedure of this magnitude; we offer hands-on precepted PICC experience.  Participants may choose the Qualification level (general or advanced) that is right for them and their care setting; combining the needed education and choice of hands-on experience.

Following are the various components of our PICC Qualification program:

Education:
PICC101: PICC Education
PICC 102: Save That PICC
PICC 103: MST Ultrasound

Hands-On Opportunities:
General Practice PICC Insertion Clinical
Advanced Practice PICC Insertion Clinical

PICC Qualification Requirements

General Level:
After completing PICC 101 & PICC 102 and a General Practice PICC Clinical the participant will receive a certificate of PICC Qualification for the General Level.  The certificate will list classes attended, post test scores, and hands-on experience.

Advanced Level:
After completing PICC 101, PICC 102 & PICC 103 and an Advanced Practice PICC Clinical the participant will receive a certificate of PICC MST Ultrasound Qualification for the Advanced Level.  The certificate will list classes attended, post test scores, and hands-on experience.
