This 3-1/2 hour session will discuss innovative management of potential problems and complications relating to the placement of PICC's. Content includes a PICC complication review; what to do with malpositioned PICC catheters; how to clear occluded PICC catheters; and thru-the-cannula and over wire PICC exchanges. A post test will be given to assess learning.
Kay, you are a wonderful instructor!! All nurses shuold be required to take your course just for peripheral I.V. starts. Infection rates would definately decrease.
