Will this class make me “Chemo Certified”?
What is sometimes referred to as “Chemo Certification” is specific to each facility or institution who often require different components. Actual “certification” for oncology practice is available thru the Oncology Nurses Society (ONS). Our program offers comprehensive information related to chemotherapeutic agents, administration techniques and the management of side effects. The “hands-on” portion for chemotherapy administration must be resourced thru your facility or institution.
